Your Lovisa Opportunity:
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished IT professional who can combine technical expertise, strategic thinking and people leadership to ensure our systems are reliable, scalable and aligned to the needs of our rapidly growing global business.
The role has significant accountability within projects as well as being generally accountable for continuous improvement activities.
You’ll work closely with senior business leaders and Executives across Lovisa, translating business needs into technology solutions while leading a talented team of IT professionals.
About the role:
- Lead the design, implementation, maintenance and ongoing optimisation of Lovisa’s global Business Systems.
- Provide strategic oversight of enterprise platforms, including ERP and other critical business applications.
- Ensure systems are secure, reliable, available and aligned with business requirements.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals, creating a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Executives, department heads and key stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain an Enterprise Systems roadmap, balancing business priorities, resources, costs and technical requirements.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and system enhancements to improve efficiency and business performance.
- Lead and support significant technology projects and transformation initiatives.
- Manage relationships with key technology vendors and partners, including commercial negotiations and performance management.
- Own and manage the Business Systems budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and investment.
- Stay across emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
About you:
You’re a senior IT leader who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and enjoys connecting technology, people and business outcomes.
- Significant senior IT leadership experience, ideally 15+ years within the technology sector.
- Proven experience leading Business Systems or Enterprise Applications within a complex organisation.
- Strong experience managing an ERP platform such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Futura or similar.
- Strong technical understanding of application operations, administration and cloud-based services.
- Experience developing and implementing application and technology strategies.
- A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with Executives and senior business leaders.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, projects and competing business requirements.
- Strong commercial and vendor management experience.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to work effectively across different teams, functions and geographies.
- A degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- (Desirable) Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems in retail operations.
- (Desirable) Customer service mindset and an ability to work with teams of varying levels across multiple geographies.
- (Desirable) Vendor and commercial management experience.
