Bupa Medical Centre Carlton is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Practice Nurse to join our busy and collaborative clinical team on a permanent basis. Located directly opposite Carlton Railway Station, our modern practice provides high-quality care to a diverse community and is home to a large team of GPs, allied health professionals, and nursing staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional patient care, and contributing to a supportive multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
Working approximately 4 days per week between 8:00am and 6:00pm, you will play a vital role in supporting our GPs and delivering a broad range of nursing services to patients across the practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Immunisations and vaccinations for adults and children
- Chronic disease management and health assessments
- Wound care and dressings
- Assisting with treatment room procedures
- Patient education and preventive health initiatives
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
- Supporting a safe, efficient, and patient-centred environment
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- General Practice nursing experience (preferred)
- Health assessment competency
- Experience with wound care and immunisations
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Confidence working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Greek language skills are welcomed but not essential.
