At UGL, in partnership with CPB Contractors, we're delivering some of the nation's most significant mission-critical projects and we're seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our growing Data Centre team.

The Opportunity

As Senior Commercial Manager, you will lead the commercial strategy, governance and financial performance of major data centre projects from contract award through to final completion.

You will provide commercial leadership across project teams, ensuring robust contract administration, proactive risk management and strong financial outcomes while supporting the successful delivery of complex mission-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end commercial performance across major data centre projects
  • Lead the administration of head contracts and high-value M&E and trade subcontracts
  • Manage contract compliance, variations, claims and dispute resolution processes
  • Partner with project leadership teams to enhance project profitability and commercial outcomes
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks while supporting project delivery objectives
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders

About You

We're looking for a commercially astute leader with experience delivering complex construction or infrastructure projects.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Manager with projects in data centres, hospitals, defence facilities, airports, laboratories or large-scale commercial developments will be highly regarded.
  • Strong experience managing GMP and large-scale project contracts
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract management, commercial governance and financial performance management
  • Proven capability in subcontract procurement, negotiation and administration
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, leadership and influencing skills
