We are seeking a Secondary Teacher - Science to join our Illawarra campus on a full-time, permanent basis, commencing in Term 4, 2026.
The Campus
The OneSchool Global Illawarra Campus is in Darkes Forest, nestled amongst dense bushland and surrounded by rural properties. The campus boasts wide open spaces and state of the art facilities. About You
To be considered for this position, you will have an excellent understanding of the NSW Curriculum and Syllabus, experience teaching Science across Years 7-10, and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences that foster curiosity, inspire student engagement in STEM, and support outstanding educational outcomes.
You must be a registered teacher with the NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA), hold relevant teaching and tertiary qualifications, and possess a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
The successful candidate will be confident delivering lessons across face-to-face, hybrid and online learning environments and be committed to embracing innovative teaching practices and technology-enabled learning.
Experience teaching senior secondary Science, including familiarity with HSC Science courses and practical requirements, will be highly regarded. You will also demonstrate strong organisational skills, with the ability to prepare, organise and deliver practical science activities, effectively manage laboratory resources and equipment, and maintain safe laboratory practices.
You will play an active role in supporting the broader Science program through the coordination of campus Science Week initiatives and the delivery of senior secondary Science practical activities. You will also be committed to supporting our Learning to Learn pedagogy, contributing positively to the broader life of the campus community, and occasionally supporting primary learning programs where appropriate.
