Project Manager

A project of this scale needs more than coordination. It needs someone who thinks ahead, makes decisions and gets people moving.

As Project Manager, you’ll help deliver the Oosterweel Link in Antwerp, one of Belgium’s largest infrastructure projects. You’ll take ownership of your part of the project and turn ambitious plans into reality.
Engineering, people, planning, budget and safety — you bring it all together. You keep the overview, step in when needed and give your team the direction to deliver.

For this project, we’re part of ROCO, the consortium delivering the Right Bank section of the Oosterweel Link for Lantis. Together, we’re building major structures including the Canal Tunnels and the new, lowered Antwerp Ring Road.

What will you do?

• Own your part of the project from preparation through execution.
• Lead and motivate project engineers, site managers and other team members.
• Keep planning, budget, quality and safety on track — and act when they’re not.
• Make sure people, materials and resources are where they need to be, when they need to be there.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers and project partners.
• Stay ahead of technical and organisational challenges.
• Make decisions, solve problems and keep the project moving.
• Follow up on commitments and keep reporting clear and focused.
• Challenge how things are done and find smarter, more efficient ways to deliver.
• Lead by example and strengthen the safety culture on site.

Who are we looking for?

• You have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in complex construction or infrastructure projects.
  • A strong technical foundation and a solid understanding of execution, planning and organisation.
  • Experience leading and motivating project teams.
  • Excellent command of English.
