Supply Planning Specialist

  • Ferrero
  • Sofia, Bulgaria
  • BGN 30,000 – BGN 40,000

Job Location: Sofia

About the Role:

As the Supply Planning Specialist for Bulgaria, you will play a key role in ensuring product availability, service level continuity and balanced stock coverage across the Ferrero portfolio. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager of Bulgaria, you will manage market coverage using SAP APO, SAP ECC, company data warehouse tools and advanced Excel analyses.
You will translate demand signals, production plans, stock levels and in-transit quantities into actionable supply decisions, helping the business maintain strong customer service while minimizing excess stock, freshness risks and potential obsolescence.
This is a hands-on planning role requiring analytical precision, operational discipline, stakeholder collaboration and a proactive mindset, with direct impact on Ferrero’s supply performance and stock efficiency in Bulgaria.

Main Responsibilities:

As Supply Planning Specialist, you will take ownership of market coverage management for the Bulgarian market, releasing distribution requests to Ferrero factories through SAP APO and ensuring timely production and replenishment across the full Ferrero portfolio.
You will monitor demand requirements, production output, shipped quantities, in-transit stock and warehouse availability, defining appropriate stock targets and ensuring the right stock coverage to support customer service levels while minimizing excess stock and freshness risks.
You will perform regular production planning checks, following up with Plant Operating Planners and Area Operations Planning teams on production feasibility, packaging material availability, line constraints, maintenance, back-up codes, seasonal priorities, in/out products and risk mitigation actions.
You will lead the weekly Supply Planning agenda within the Consensus process, preparing analyses on stock coverage, product freshness, availability versus demand, delivery deadlines, critical supply risks and agreed action plans. You will coordinate closely with Sales, Demand Planning, Marketing, Customer Service and Logistics to align priorities and resolve constraints.
You will also manage co-packing planning activities, coordinating the availability of products, packaging materials, purchase orders, supplier deliveries and operational capacity. In addition, you will support stock monitoring, problematic stock follow-up, master data activities, service level improvement plans and ad hoc business analyses.

About You:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Planning professional with a solid understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics processes, ideally gained through 4–7 years of relevant experience in planning, logistics, operations or a similar business environment.
The ideal candidate communicates confidently in written and spoken English and is comfortable working with digital tools, especially the Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of SAP is preferred, while experience with SAP APO is considered a strong advantage.
This person is able to manage multiple priorities, respect strict timelines and remain effective in a dynamic environment. They combine analytical thinking with practical problem solving and know how to turn data, constraints and business inputs into clear planning decisions.
Accuracy is essential in this role. We are looking for someone with strong numerical skills, high attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset, able to monitor stock, freshness, product availability, production priorities and service level risks with discipline and ownership.
We are seeking someone who is flexible, proactive, autonomous and open to change, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions and build effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the performance of the Bulgarian market by ensuring strong service levels, reliable supply, efficient stock management and smooth coordination across the end-to-end planning process.
