JOB DESCRIPTION

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the financial services activity relevant to the licensee and the wider industry and its regulatory environment.
• Lead financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee financial operations and implement strategies that support sustainable business growth and financial performance.
• Apply international accounting standards, including IFRS and, where applicable, AAOIFI, in the preparation and interpretation of financial information.
• Apply appropriate valuation principles and practices across different classes of asset.
• Assess and manage impairment provisions, ensuring appropriate measurement methodologies and compliance with applicable accounting standards.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• 5–7 years of relevant experience preferably in insurance industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field including; professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ACA/FCA, CFA, CIPA (AAOIFI), or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and financial management skills.
