Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Insurance Advisory to plan, coordinate, and deliver advisory projects for insurance companies across the region.

Projects may include company restructuring, insurance run-off management, establishment of new insurance companies or branches, market entry, operational transformation, and process improvement.

This role is with a leading organization in the insurance industry. We are also looking to connect with clients or industry partners with relevant insurance advisory, transformation, or project management needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage advisory projects from initial assessment through implementation and completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with client management, internal teams, regulators, consultants, and external service providers.
• Assess client operations, processes, and organizational structures to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Support restructuring, transformation, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate insurance run-off projects, including operational, claims, financial, and regulatory workstreams.
• Manage projects related to establishing new insurance companies, branches, or operations, including licensing, operational readiness, and implementation.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of policies, procedures, workflows, and operating models.
• Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and outstanding actions.
• Prepare regular project status reports and presentations for clients and management.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and in line with quality standards and client expectations.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within insurance, consulting, advisory, or project management.
• Strong understanding of insurance operations and regulatory environments.
• Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Strong project planning, coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
• Experience in restructuring, operational transformation, insurance run-off, market entry, or business establishment projects is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, regulators, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
