Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Manager, Pricing & Merchandising on a permanent basis on our Consumer Products team.

This position is a hybrid opportunity and will be base out of our Home Office in Saskatoon, SK

The Senior Manager, Pricing & Merchandising provides strategic leadership for Retail Pricing, Shelf Management, and Item Maintenance services, ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery, strong accountability, operational excellence, and effective support for business partners across the organization. What you’ll do:

  • Lead and continuously enhance retail pricing services in Consumer Products (Food, C-Store, HABS, Pharmacy) by overseeing pricing strategy, governance, execution, and stakeholder support to ensure accurate, competitive pricing that drives margin performance and meets business objectives.
  • Guide shelf management and floor planning services by delivering accurate merchandising layouts, optimizing space utilization and store execution, and driving continuous improvement through process and system enhancements.
  • Direct item maintenance services by ensuring data integrity, process governance, and accurate, timely item-related outputs while providing oversight and resolution for complex costing, vendor, and system data issues.
  • Oversee item maintenance services by ensuring accurate and timely item data, strong governance and controls, standardized processes, and effective resolution of complex item, costing, and vendor-related issues.
  • Provide leadership across Pricing, Shelf Management, and Item Maintenance services to ensure high-quality service delivery, stakeholder alignment, team effectiveness, and continuous improvement that supports business objectives across the organization.

Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will work closely with Retail Pricing, Shelf Management, and Item Management teams. This role will have 3 direct report(s), and will report into the Director, Consumer Shared Services. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, operational efficiency, and clear accountability.

The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Shared Services business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Category Management, Retail Operations and local Co-ops, Marketing/Promotions, Supply Chain/Procurement and systems support teams.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

  • 8+years of progressively responsible experience in retail pricing, merchandising, operations, or related areas
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience managing teams or functions
  • Experience supporting retail or category-based environments across multiple commodities is considered an asset
  • Experience working with pricing systems, item master data, and/or merchandising tools (e.g., planogram or space planning systems) is preferred
