About the team you are joining

Reporting to the Head, Airline Commercial Systems, you will be a member of the IATA Distribution Team.
The IATA Distribution Team is responsible for supporting the industry’s transformation to 100% Offers & Orders, enabled by IATA standards including NDC and ONE Order. Part of IATA Modern Airline Retailing (MAR) initiative, the team seeks to deliver customer‑centric retailing (personalization, seamless experiences) while transitioning the industry beyond legacy artifacts (PNR, e‑ticket, EMD).
Your role will be to manage the activities related to Offers & Orders transformation with airlines. This will include liaising with the standards development team, driving industry awareness activities (webinars, events, campaign), supporting airlines implementation and providing industry best practices.

What your day would be like

  • Lead coordination and delivery of the annual IATA Offers & Orders Forum, including agenda development, speaker management, moderation, and follow-up actions
  • Serve as the primary IATA focal point for airlines implementing Offers & Orders solutions with technology providers
  • Contribute to IATA Retailing Consortium capturing implementation lessons learned and developing industry best practices
  • Organize and facilitate workshops focused on Offers & Orders transformation, implementation approaches, business process changes, and transition planning
  • Engage with airlines, vendors, and implementation partners to monitor industry progress and identify common challenges
  • Collect implementation feedback and collaborate with IATA standards groups to improve the quality, usability, and adoption of Offers & Orders standards
  • Maintain close coordination with the Passenger Standards Conference (PSC) to track standards development
  • Support the annual industry survey and maturity assessment of “Order as the Master Record” adoption
  • Produce implementation insights, adoption reports, and recommendations to accelerate industry transformation
  • Support IATA's strategic initiatives related to the future evolution of airline retailing, including emerging opportunities enabled by Agentic AI

We would love to hear from you if

  • University degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in airline commercial systems, distribution, reservations, digital transformation, revenue management, passenger airline IT
  • Strong understanding of airline commercial Offers & Orders processes and standards, including dynamic offers, order management, servicing, settlement, delivery, and revenue accounting
  • Ability to facilitate industry discussions, including engagement with senior airline executives, technology providers, and industry stakeholders
  • Experience working independently in a highly international environment and publishing best practices will be an asset
