Job Summary
The Order Processor is responsible for managing and executing order fulfillment activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive customer experience. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, vendors, logistics providers, and internal HP teams to ensure timely processing, issue resolution, and delivery of products and services.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, effective stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and the ability to navigate complex operational processes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Order Management & Execution
- Process and manage customer orders in HP systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor orders throughout the fulfillment lifecycle and proactively identify potential delays or exceptions.
- Coordinate order modifications, cancellations, returns, credits, and replacements as needed.
- Validate order information, pricing, configurations, approvals, and required documentation.
Issue Resolution & Escalation Management
- Investigate and resolve order-related issues, including shipment delays, inventory constraints, invoicing discrepancies, and system errors.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive timely resolution of customer-impacting issues.
- Escalate critical cases appropriately while maintaining ownership until resolution.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Sales, Customer Support, Vendors, and other internal teams.
- Communicate order status, risks, and resolution plans to stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Data Accuracy & Compliance
- Ensure all transactions comply with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and system updates.
- Identify and report process gaps, trends, and recurring issues.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in process improvement projects and operational initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and optimize workflows.
- Contribute to knowledge management and documentation efforts.
Education & Experience Recommended
• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
