We are seeking a Customer Quality and Compliance Engineer to join our team in Coyol, Alajuela. In this role, you will ensure our products and processes meet customer requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations. You will work across functions to investigate quality issues, implement effective solutions, and drive improvements that enhance customer satisfaction and organizational performance.

Our Team

You will be part of the Quality team at Molex, a Koch company. You will collaborate with Production, Operations, Engineering, and other functions to promote compliance, prevent quality issues, and respond effectively to customer needs.

What You Will Do

• Ensure customer requirements are understood and incorporated into quality standards, procedures, and controls
• Monitor and evaluate product and process quality against established specifications and requirements
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management system procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards
• Investigate quality issues and nonconformities through root cause analysis and coordinate corrective and preventive actions
• Plan and conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to verify compliance with internal, regulatory, and customer requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and develop sustainable solutions
• Analyze quality data and metrics using statistical tools to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, audit evidence, and quality documentation
• Prepare and communicate reports regarding quality findings, risks, and actions to relevant stakeholders
• Stay current with changes in applicable regulations, industry standards, and quality practices
• Guide Quality team members on inspection protocols, testing methods, and documentation requirements

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Five or more years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or compliance engineering
• Experience working with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001
• Experience investigating nonconformities, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Experience analyzing quality data and metrics using statistical tools and quality methodologies
• Experience preparing and maintaining quality or compliance documentation, records, and reports
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish
• Experience using Microsoft Office and quality management systems or tools

• Experience in a regulated industry or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience managing quality or compliance-related projects
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Experience using compliance platforms or enterprise systems
