Assistant Bar Operations Manager

Reports to : Bar Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

· Providing Luxury Food & Beverage service to guests in a courteous and professional manner in bar and restaurant venues and special events

· Anticipating and responding to the needs of team members and guests by ensuring all supplies are readily available before and during service, maintaining a clean, safe and accident-free environment, and immediately responding to needs of all guests and coworkers

· Setup, cleaning, and break-down of bar venues and maintaining equipment, supplies, goods and all work areas, reporting any issues to leadership

· Partnering with F&B Leadership to ensure adherence to sanitation and cleaning plan throughout all venues and proper preparation for internal and official health and cleanliness inspections

· Assisting with inventory processes including requisitions and receiving

· Advance planning, coordination and oversight of execution of special events in partnership with Bar Manager

· Supports Bar Manager in maintenance and development of mocktails and beverage lists

· Audits Bar venues to ensure their preparedness and adherence to standards

· Ensuring Compliance with Public Health and all Safety and Labor Regulations

Profile:

· Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to position

· Strong knowledge and experience in Public Health Rules and Regulations related to VSP and HACCP

· Previous Head Bartender or Bar Manager experience in a 4-star cruise restaurant environment

· Excellent working knowledge of food, beverage (beverages, coffee, tea) and an international cuisine

Length of Contract :

4 Months on / 2 Months off
