HOW IS WORKING IN THE FINANCIAL TEAM SPECIAL?

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Deliver a great customer-focused proposition, including the best range, a strong trade plan, and competitive prices.
• Ensure the category has a long-term customer-led plan that drives loyalty.
• Deliver on customer promises of “I can get what I want” and “the prices are good”.
• Work with key stakeholders to ensure the right product arrives at the right place, at the right time, and at the right price.
• Write and agree the buying plan with the Manager.
• Identify savings and income opportunities and negotiate with suppliers for the best price.
• Identify potential suppliers and assess their suitability.
• Assess and review the branded supply base and ensure legal contracts are in place.
• Interpret customer insights and refine multichannel trade plans and events.
• Support the delivery of the buying plan for customers.
• Deliver strong product ranges and innovation across all formats, channels, and customer segments.
• Achieve sales and margin targets and strive to exceed them.
• Develop the supplier base to create competitive advantage.
• Negotiate product costs and rebates to continuously reduce costs for customers.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Up to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2).
• Analytical mindset.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Customer-focused approach.
