Intern – Software & Analytics

We are looking for a university student in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field to join our Aircraft Engine Analytics team.

You will support the development and maintenance of internal analytics tools used for business-jet engine applications. Your primary focus will be a Python-based web application, where you will implement new features, resolve issues, and help maintain the existing production solution.

The role combines software development with engineering analytics and provides an opportunity to grow into advanced analytics, AI, and time-series data analysis.

This is a part-time opportunity for current university students with hybrid work from home model.

• Develop, maintain, and improve an internal web-based analytics application

• Implement new features and troubleshoot existing functionality

• Write, review, and maintain Python and SQL code

• Work with a Python web application framework such as Taipy, or similar technologies

• Apply standard software development practices, including Git, issue tracking, code reviews, and development lifecycle workflows

• Support existing analytics functionality, including some legacy MATLAB code

• Collaborate with software engineers and analysts working with aircraft-engine data

• Currently pursuing university degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field

• Basic to intermediate programming skills in Python

• General knowledge of SQL and working with data

• Basic understanding of web application development

• Familiarity with Git and general software development practices

• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a technical team

• Enthusiasm for aviation, aircraft, or aircraft engines is highly appreciated
