Logistics Manager - (m/f/d / All Genders Welcome)

Location: Žatec, Most

Your Role

As our Logistics Manager, you will:

• Leadership and development of the logistics team, including setting responsibilities and priorities;
• Management of planning and coordination of customer deliveries in line with production requirements and customer deadlines;
• Management and coordination of logistics processes within the plant;
  Optimization and management of material flows, inventory levels and stocktaking;
• Coordination of external and internal logistics service providers;
• Monitoring and evaluation of logistics KPIs and implementation of corrective actions;
• Responsibility for logistics costs and identification of optimization opportunities;
• Resolution of operational issues and escalations related to material availability, transportation and customer deliveries;
• Ensuring compliance with internal standards, occupational health and safety requirements, and customer logistics requirements;
• Setting up and continuously improving logistics processes in line with JIT/JIS and Lean Management principles, with a focus on increasing efficiency;
• Cooperation in new project launches from a logistics and planning perspective.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Experience)

We’re looking for someone who demonstrates:

• Secondary or university education, ideally in logistics, engineering or economics;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar logistics position within the automotive industry;
• Ability to effectively lead, motivate and develop a team; strong leadership skills;
• Good knowledge of production logistics, planning, warehouse management and material flow processes;
• Knowledge of JIT/JIS and Lean Management principles;
• Ability to work with logistics KPIs, costs and capacity planning;
• Fluent English for daily communication; German is an advantage;
• Good knowledge of MS Office, experience with SAP, valid category B driving licence – active driver;
• Ability to solve operational issues, set priorities and make decisions under time pressure;
• Independent and responsible approach, with good organizational and communication skills.
