Lead Designer BIM/VDC

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Designer BIM / VDC (m/f/d).

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Acting as the Technical Lead for BIM/VDC Design in ATF projects
• Creating 3D models in accordance with BIM methodology, including 2D drawings and component schedules
• Independently creating installation drawings, revision plans, and project documentation
• Contributing to the development and improvement of the CAD/BIM environment, template files, and component families
• Analysing data and creating Power BI dashboards
• Monitoring BIM quality throughout all project phases
• Coordinating technical teams and subcontractors on BIM/VDC-related activities
• Supporting the implementation and further development of BIM within the company

Show your expertise

• Professional experience in 2D and 3D design of factory planning (plant construction) desired
• Understanding of the requirements for cross-trade coordination (space management)
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Analytical thinking, high level of initiative and independent action
• Several years of experience in a BIM position - as Senior or Lead
• Proficiency with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud).
• Plant 3D knowledge is a plus
• Understanding of IFC schema and IFC import and export requirements for Revit
• Fluent in German and English
