The Flight Operations Recruiter is responsible for managing recruitment activities across the organization, with a primary focus on pilot recruitment. The role supports the attraction, selection and hiring of qualified candidates while ensuring an efficient recruitment process and a positive candidate experience. The position works closely with the Fleet Manager and operational departments to ensure recruitment needs are met in line with Marabu Airlines’ standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, primarily for pilots
- Support and coordinate recruitment for office roles when required
- Prepare and publish job advertisements through appropriate recruitment channels and platforms
- Conduct application screening and coordinate candidates’ interviews and assessments
- Coordinate aviation-specific selection processes, including simulator assessments for pilots
- Act as the main point of contact for candidates, ensuring clear communication and a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain recruitment systems, candidate records, and documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance
- Track and monitor recruitment metrics to support effective workforce planning and hiring decisions
- Support various Flight Operations projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within recruitment processes
- Work closely with the Fleet Manager, HR and operational departments to ensure recruitment needs are met in line with Marabu Airlines’ standards
- This role requires frequent travel outside Estonia for pilot assessments
Requirements
- Previous experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably within aviation
- Experience managing high-volume or operational recruitment processes is considered an advantage
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment activities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, proactive and able to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and following them through to completion
- Proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing operational and recruitment needs
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recruitment documentation
- Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are considered an advantage
This is an on-site position based in Estonia and does not offer a remote or hybrid working option.
