Job Description:
The Transfer Pricing Specialist will join our in-house Tax team and play a key role in supporting the Group’s Transfer Pricing function across a broad range of compliance, documentation and advisory activities.
The role offers the opportunity to further develop Transfer Pricing expertise within a fast-paced, international commodity trading environment, with exposure to a broad range of transfer pricing matters and close interaction with the wider Tax team and the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation, including local files and master files, in accordance with OECD Guidelines and local legislation.
- Support the maintenance and implementation of the Group’s intercompany pricing policies, ensuring alignment with the arm’s length principle.
- Contribute to the preparation of transfer pricing aspects of corporate income tax returns and related filings.
- Review intercompany agreements and ensure that contractual terms accurately reflect the underlying intercompany dealings.
- Support responses to transfer pricing queries from tax authorities and contribute to tax audits.
- Monitor developments in transfer pricing legislation, OECD guidance and relevant case law, and assess their potential impact on the Group.
- Work closely with Controlling, Finance, Legal, M&A and Commercial teams to gather data and understand business activities for transfer pricing purposes.
- Contribute to ad hoc transfer pricing advisory projects, analyses and initiatives.
- Support the continuous improvement of transfer pricing processes, policies and reporting.
Profile
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Tax, Accounting, Law or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in Transfer Pricing, gained either in-house, within a Big Four firm, Tax Authority or other advisory/consulting environment.
- Solid understanding of the arm’s length principle, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and common transfer pricing methods.
- Previous experience with transfer pricing documentation and compliance activities; exposure to advisory matters is a plus.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to work in a dynamic international environment.
