The objective of this role is to accelerate NOV Tuboscope's growth across North Africa by strengthening our presence in key markets, developing new business opportunities, and building long-term strategic customer relationships. The Business Development Manager will focus on expanding our customer base, increasing market share across our product and service portfolio, and identifying opportunities to introduce new technologies and solutions, while delivering sustainable revenue and profitability growth across the region.
Develop and execute business development strategies to drive profitable growth across North Africa.
Identify and develop new customers, markets, and business opportunities across NOV Tuboscope's portfolio.
Build and maintain strong relationships with national and international operators, drilling contractors, service companies, OCTG manufacturers, and other key stakeholders.
Promote NOV Tuboscope's inspection, corrosion control, hardbanding, machining, and related technologies and services.
Develop strategic account plans and identify opportunities to increase market share, revenue, and profitability.
Manage the regional sales pipeline, opportunities, forecasts, and CRM activities to ensure visibility and accurate reporting.
Monitor customer requirements, market trends, and competitive activity to identify emerging opportunities.
Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Product Line, and Commercial teams to develop and deliver customer solutions.
Support the introduction and commercialization of new technologies and services across North Africa.
Travel extensively throughout the region to engage customers, develop opportunities, and strengthen NOV Tuboscope's market presence.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
10+ years of experience in sales and business development, preferably within the oil & gas, energy, or oilfield services industry.
Strong understanding of upstream and midstream markets across North Africa.
Established relationships and market access with national and international operators, drilling contractors, service companies, and other key industry stakeholders.
Proven track record of identifying opportunities, developing new business, and delivering revenue and profitability growth.
Strong commercial, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of CRM systems.
Strong understanding of regional business practices and cultures, with the ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout North Africa.
