Controls Engineer

Design and develop control system hardware and electrical drawings using AutoCAD.

Prepare and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation.

Support the development, modification, and troubleshooting of PLC control systems.

Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs; experience with Allen-Bradley programming is a strong advantage.

Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and start-up activities at customer sites when required.

Collaborate with electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and project engineering teams to deliver control system solutions.

Troubleshoot control hardware, PLC, and electrical system issues and implement corrective actions.

Review engineering drawings and ensure designs comply with applicable project standards and specifications.

Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from design through commissioning

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.

3–5 years of relevant experience in controls engineering, industrial automation, or a similar field.

Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD for electrical/control system design.

Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Allen-Bradley PLC experience is a plus.

Previous commissioning experience is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system drawings.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability and willingness to travel for site installation, commissioning, and customer support when required.
