About the role
OPC GMNS is a sales hub in Madrid with more than 200 colleagues. We work with all the European Markets extending American Express acceptance throughout EMEA.

The trainee in OPC would support the sales and client manager OPC teams working on different missions such as:

  • Support the team in hierarchy clean up and identification of top opportunities.
  • Carry out business reviews for some top managed accounts (industry trends, merchant activity reviews, franchise plans..).
  • Assist the team in deck preparation and meeting preparation identifying key contacts, preparing business reviews and participating in meetings.
  • Ensure market review, benchmark analysis in some specific industries, analysis of industry trends, competitors and payment landscape information research.
  • Assist account managers coordinating with other teams' information collection for marketing, Know Your Customer, regulatory topics and consolidate information when needed.
  • Coordination of other transversal projects within OPC team.
  • Admin support in Franchises campaigns: check and cleaning of data, matching with current data base, hierarchy review, campaign reporting.
  • Mapping activation processes and reporting errors of set up
  • Support with consolidating and updating onboarding manuals and help on governance acquisition processes.

-Provide more support to Client management and acquisition teams and increase business results

  • Take ownership on small important tasks to enable the team gain efficiency in sales achievements
  • Allow the team to allocate more time in Merchant negotiation and accelerate signings
  • Experience in payment industry and global company

Required Qualifications

  • Rigorous, autonomous and curious
  • Good sales mindset with strong adaptation skills
  • Strong communication and relationship skills
  • Good management of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Positive attitude and proactivity
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Prefered Qualifications

  • Ability to work with data, good analytical skills
