We’re looking for a reliable, flexible and experienced Mobile Cleaner to join our growing Team.

This is a varied role where no two days are necessarily the same. You’ll travel between our commercial cleaning sites across the Midlands, providing cleaning cover, supporting our existing teams and helping us maintain the high standards our customers expect.

A company van and fuel card will be provided for use during working hours.

The role

Your working day will involve travelling to different Spotless sites, which may include offices, schools and other commercial premises.

You could be:

• Covering planned or unexpected staff absences
• Supporting new contract start-ups and mobilisations
• Helping existing cleaning teams when additional support is required
• Carrying out cleaning at different sites
• Responding to cleaning issues or customer requirements
• Supporting managers with maintaining cleaning standards
• Carrying out occasional additional cleaning or deep-cleaning work

Because this is a mobile role, flexibility is essential. You must be comfortable travelling to different locations and adapting to changing requirements.

Hours & Pay

• 37.5 hours per week
• £14.50 per hour
• £28,275 annual salary equivalent
• Hours will vary depending on business requirements, with shifts starting between 5:00am and 1:30pm
• 37.5 hours' pay guaranteed each week, regardless of the exact hours worked
• Paid overtime may occasionally be available/required depending on business needs
• Monday to Friday

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and punctual
• Flexible and able to adapt to different sites
• Confident working independently
• Comfortable travelling throughout the East Midlands
• Friendly and professional when dealing with customers and colleagues
• Able to maintain high standards of cleaning
• Happy to help wherever needed

Previous professional cleaning experience is preferred, and knowledge of COSHH and cleaning equipment would be an advantage.

Essential requirements

• Full UK driving licence – maximum 3 points
• Must live in or around Burton-on-Trent
• Must be happy to travel to sites across Burton, Derby, Lichfield, Nottingham, Loughborough and Ashby
• Must be willing to undergo a DBS check, arranged by Spotless
• References from previous employers will normally be required
• Must be comfortable working flexible shifts starting between 5:00am and 1:30pm
