SCOPE
- Support the delivery and coordination of passive fire protection projects.
- Assist Project Managers, site teams and fire stopping operatives.
- Plan site setups and ensure compliance with QSHE standards.
- Provide site-based compliance information and support audits.
- Work with Joblogic, Northgate and accreditation systems.
KNOWLEDGE
Minimum qualifications for this role include:
- Strong knowledge of passive fire stopping, fire doors and associated products.
- Understanding of construction, contract management and safe working practices.
- Knowledge of current legislation, compliance requirements and ISO systems.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations within construction.
- Current First Aid certificate.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Extensive passive fire protection experience.
- SMSTS and CSCS Black Card.
- FIRAS or BM TRADA accreditation.
- Fire door and fire stopping experience.
- NVQ Level 3+ in Passive Fire Protection.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Experience working on large live projects.
- Knowledge of passive fire regulations and compliance auditing.
SKILLS
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
- Research, reporting and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to use digital systems and software effectively.
- Ability to motivate and support teams.
OTHER
- Ability to travel to multiple sites.
- Flexibility to undertake occasional out-of-hours work.
DUTIES
- Oversee day-to-day passive fire projects.
- Provide technical support to fire stopping operatives.
- Conduct audits and maintain compliance documentation.
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Support project teams in meeting QSHE and client requirements.
- Maintain passive fire accreditations and compliance standards.
- Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Promote a strong culture of health, safety and quality.
