Site Supervisor Passive Fire

SCOPE

• Support the delivery and coordination of passive fire protection projects.
• Assist Project Managers, site teams and fire stopping operatives.
• Plan site setups and ensure compliance with QSHE standards.
• Provide site-based compliance information and support audits.
• Work with Joblogic, Northgate and accreditation systems.

KNOWLEDGE

Minimum qualifications for this role include:

• Strong knowledge of passive fire stopping, fire doors and associated products.
• Understanding of construction, contract management and safe working practices.
• Knowledge of current legislation, compliance requirements and ISO systems.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations within construction.
• Current First Aid certificate.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Extensive passive fire protection experience.
• SMSTS and CSCS Black Card.
• FIRAS or BM TRADA accreditation.
• Fire door and fire stopping experience.
• NVQ Level 3+ in Passive Fire Protection.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• Experience working on large live projects.
• Knowledge of passive fire regulations and compliance auditing.

SKILLS

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Research, reporting and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to use digital systems and software effectively.
• Ability to motivate and support teams.

OTHER

• Ability to travel to multiple sites.
• Flexibility to undertake occasional out-of-hours work.

DUTIES

• Oversee day-to-day passive fire projects.
• Provide technical support to fire stopping operatives.
• Conduct audits and maintain compliance documentation.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Support project teams in meeting QSHE and client requirements.
• Maintain passive fire accreditations and compliance standards.
• Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Promote a strong culture of health, safety and quality.
