General Assistant - St Kilda
Ever fancied working somewhere that most people only ever dream of visiting? This could be your opportunity. We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile General Assistant to join our team on St Kilda, one of the most remote and spectacular locations in the United Kingdom. St Kilda is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its dramatic cliffs, extraordinary wildlife and unique cultural heritage.
The Role
As a General Assistant, you'll play an important part in the smooth running of the operation on St Kilda. You may be involved in catering, food preparation, cleaning, housekeeping, stores, general duties and supporting the wider team wherever required.
We are looking for someone who is:
• Practical, reliable and adaptable
• Comfortable working as part of a small team
• Happy to turn their hand to a variety of tasks
• Able to work independently and use their initiative
• Friendly, professional and approachable
• Comfortable living and working in an extremely remote environment
Catering Experience?
If you've worked in a kitchen, catering, hospitality, housekeeping or a similar environment, we'd love to hear from you. Full site-specific training and induction will be provided, so if you have the enthusiasm to learn and the flexibility to get stuck in, we'll help you develop the skills you need.
