Due to the rural nature of our communities and the need to support clients with outings, appointments and social activities, we are ideally seeking applicants with a full UK driving licence and who have access to a reliable vehicle insured for business use.
Job Description
We are seeking experienced, compassionate and proactive Live-In Carers to support clients living in some of the most picturesque parts of South Devon.
We proudly offer £1050 per week (£150 a day) plus a daily food allowance - significantly above standard live-in care rates. Plus you can expect:
- Two-weeks-on / two-weeks-off rota (flexibility available)
- Ten-hour working days with a two-hour daily break
- Regular handovers to ensure continuity of care

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in live-in care
- A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
- Confidence working independently in a live-in environment
- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships
- Strong understanding of person-centred care
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care
- Supporting with medication
- Preparing nutritious meals
- Completing general household duties
- Supporting clients with outings and appointments
- Recording daily activities and reporting changes in wellbeing using our care app
- Maintaining regular communication with your line manager and office team
- Recognising and escalating concerns appropriately to ensure client safety and wellbeing
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years' experience in live-in care is preferred
- Experience supporting people living with dementia is highly desirable
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK
- Ideally hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Confident using a mobile app for care documentation and communication
- An enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service would be advantageous
