20260402073003_We Are Hiring.jpgWe are looking for a Part-Time Facility Attendant to help create a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained environment at an FCPRD Community Center. This position supports daily facility operations, programs, rentals, and special events while providing friendly, helpful service to our community members and guests.

Examples of duties

As a Facility Attendant, you will:

Responsible for overall facility cleanliness.
Open and close the facility.
Serve as liaison between participants, volunteers, staff, and FCPRD.
Represent FCPRD and follow department policies and procedures.
Assist officials, scorekeepers, and instructors with enforcement of league/program rules as needed.
Develop positive working relationships with participants, contracted organizations, and other staff.
Ensure the smooth operation of programs and the facility.
Set up and tear down equipment for multiple sports and activities.
Prepare the facility for scheduled activities and rentals.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
General knowledge of various sports.
Skilled in customer service, organization, and decision-making.
First Aid, CPR, and AED certification is required upon hire.

Supplemental information

Physical Demands: Requires occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds to move objects. Duties include squatting, reaching, sitting, gripping, pulling, lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive motions.

Environmental Conditions: Work is performed primarily indoors in a community center or recreational facility environment and is generally subject to moderate noise and activity associated with programs, rentals, and events. Outdoor work is infrequent but may occasionally be required with advance notice.
