MFS Treasury Analyst - Telecel Cash

Role Purpose

The MFS Treasury Analyst will ensure all monies moving in and out of Telecel Cash is accurate, timely, and fully reconciled. The role owns settlement with payment schemes and manages receivables from partners/agents who collect cash on our platform.

Key Responsibilities

•Handle Visa and other related product settlements, scheme fees, chargebacks, and acquirer reconciliations.

•Manage GhIPSS settlements, reconcile settlement files and resolve breaks.

•Own settlement and reconciliation for banks, fin-techs, billers, and other aggregators.

•Monitor receivables from partners who partners mobile financial services for bill collections on the Telecel Cash platform.

•Track aging reports, follow up on outstanding balances, and escalate overdue accounts to the MFS finance manager or any line of escalation in place.

•Ensure all collections are swept into designated accounts per agreement and reported into the accounting system.

•Perform daily reconciliation of all settlement accounts and partner sub-ledgers. Ensure GL posting is accurate.

•Prepare daily/weekly settlement and receivables reports. Flag risks, delays, or unusual trends to management.

•Work with Product, Technology and Risk to resolve settlement failures and improve turnaround times.

•Support audits and manage bank relationships on trust accounts.

Must have Technical / Professional Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

•1–3 years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, or banking.

•Strong knowledge of cash accounting and settlements.

•Proficiency in banking platforms and ERP platforms.

•Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

•Experience with international treasury operations and foreign exchange management.

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
