About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Economist Analyst to support the economic evaluation, financial analysis, and investment planning of major road and highway infrastructure projects in Papua New Guinea.
Responsibilities
- Conduct economic analysis for road, highway, bridge, and transport infrastructure projects.
- Evaluate project costs, benefits, economic viability, and investment priorities.
- Develop economic models to assess project alternatives and investment options.
- Support feasibility studies and detailed design stages through economic evaluation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualifications in civil engineering or economics with specialization in transport economics
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in conducting economic analysis of transport projects, preferably funded by MDBs.
- Male or female
- Good communication in English Language
