How will you contribute to Skroutz vision
Are you a data-driven CRM professional with a passion for building lasting relationships with customers? We're looking for a Senior CRM & Automation Specialist to join our Growth Marketing team, where CRM and performance marketing sit side by side under one goal: acquiring, engaging and retaining the millions of consumers who shop with us. This is a dynamic role for someone with foundational experience who is ready to help us engage, retain and delight the millions of consumers who shop with us.
The way we run CRM is changing quickly: fewer one-off manual sends, more always-on automated journeys, and AI woven into the daily craft of building them. You'll be hands-on in that shift, working closely with performance marketing colleagues and alongside various departments (Marketing, Commercial, Product). Different channels, one scoreboard — growth. Your job is to turn data and insights into personalized communication that reaches the right person at the right moment, and to show what it moved.
What You'll Do
- Leverage CRM Channels: Create multi-channel campaigns using different channels as email communications, push notifications and in-platform messaging.
- Execute Campaigns: Plan, design & execute ad-hoc and automated CRM campaigns to reach, engage, retain and reactivate consumers on our platform.
- Build Automated Journeys: Design and maintain always-on lifecycle flows (onboarding, first purchase, cross-sell, churn-risk, win-back) with proper triggers, branching, frequency capping and exit criteria — so that communication runs continuously instead of campaign by campaign.
- CRM Segmentation: Conduct in-depth audience segmentation analysis to ensure the right content reaches the right user at the right time. Develop and maintain dynamic segments based on behavior, lifecycle stage and engagement, including propensity- and score-based segments that update themselves.
- Personalize at Scale: Use dynamic content blocks, templating logic (Liquid, Jinja), product and catalog feeds, and AI-generated content so a user's browsing history, purchase behavior and lifecycle stage genuinely change what they receive.
- Use AI in the Daily Workflow: Apply AI tools to the repetitive parts of the job — drafting and localizing copy variants, generating and debugging SQL, QA-ing templates and payloads, summarizing campaign results — while keeping human judgment over what actually ships.
- Optimize Performance: Monitor key metrics and support A/B testing efforts to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and user responsiveness, with automated reporting and alerting where it saves manual checking.
- Analyze Data: Help analyze campaign results and turn insights into actionable recommendations for the team, focusing on consumer behavior and needs.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with marketing, business intelligence, and product teams to understand user behavior, define the events and attributes CRM depends on, and identify new opportunities for growth and automation.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Research, pilot and implement new CRM, AI and automation capabilities — and turn the ones that prove useful into standard team practice.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a CRM role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume consumer environment, including ownership of trigger-based automated journeys.
- CRM Tooling: Deep familiarity with at least one major CRM platform (Braze, MoEngage, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Salesforce Pardot or similar). We care less about which one and more about how far you've gone with it: building multi-step journeys, defining the events and attributes they run on, and writing the templating logic that personalizes them.
- AI in Practice: You already use AI tools as part of how you work, not as an experiment. We'd like concrete examples: copy and variant generation, localization, writing or debugging queries, building small internal tools, analyzing results. Specific use cases matter more to us than tool names.
- Automation Mindset: An instinct to ask "can this run itself?" Comfort with events, triggers, webhooks and APIs; SQL or basic scripting is a strong plus.
- Data-Driven: An analytical mindset with a track record of running A/B and multivariate tests (lift analysis, control groups). You look beyond open and click rates to measure success by incremental results, retention cohorts, LTV, and conversion rates.
- Team Player: A collaborative spirit and strong communication skills, ready to learn from and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.
- Organized: The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ownership & Initiative: An end-to-end ownership mindset. You don’t wait for step-by-step briefs—you identify opportunities, unblock yourself, research solutions, and take projects from concept to final measurement independently.
Bonus Points
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or any other related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong SQL and comfort with HTML/CSS for email; familiarity with templating languages (Liquid, Jinja) and working with APIs, webhooks or event payloads.
- AI Tooling: Experience going beyond chat prompts — building internal tools or agents, connecting AI to your own data, or automating a recurring piece of your workflow end to end.
- Automation & Workflow Tools: Hands-on use of platforms like Zapier, Make, n8n or similar to connect CRM with other systems.
- Data Stack: Familiarity with the plumbing behind CRM — data warehouses, CDPs, event tracking, reverse ETL — and how data reaches the CRM tool.
- Marketplace Experience: Experience working within an online marketplace or e-commerce environment.
