Evening Family Program Teacher

Report Times: 5:30-8:00pm
Daily Hours: 2.5hrs
Work Year: 2026-2027
Supervisor: Ashley Dame-Marino

Minimum Requirements:
Current GTA

Desired Qualifications:
-Ability to plan creative and engaging lessons for evening programming to support language acquisition
-Ability to collaborate with colleagues and be flexible based on student and family attendance for a given evening
-Demonstrate strong communication skills with students, families and colleagues

Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Department of Multilingual Education has ALAS (Latino Literacy) and ENL Family Program on Thursday evenings. Specific dates and times will be communicated to applicants.

Assist with setting up and cleaning of classrooms and shared spaces for nightly activities.

Plan and execute lessons for multilingual learners in PreK-12th grade.

Collaborate to plan and execute activities for parents and families of English language learners.

Engage with students and families and support culturally responsive education practices in evening programming.
