The Site Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day management and execution of the Guam Portable Office Space and Trailer Movement contract. This position provides on-site leadership for the movement, delivery, placement, setup, relocation, and removal of portable office trailers and associated equipment.
The Site Manager serves as the primary on-site point of contact for the customer and ensures all activities are completed safely, efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with contract requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily operations for portable office space and trailer movement activities.
- Coordinate the delivery, relocation, setup, and removal of portable office trailers.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for the customer.
- Schedule and coordinate personnel, transportation, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Monitor trailer locations, movement status, and overall asset accountability.
- Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements.
- Address customer requests, operational issues, and schedule changes.
- Maintain required documentation, work orders, movement records, and reports.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure quality of completed work.
- Provide regular status updates to company management and customer representatives.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of experience in site management, facilities operations, logistics, transportation, portable/modular buildings, or a related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience working in Guam or other remote locations.
- Experience with portable office/modular building operations.
- Experience with trailer transportation and setup.
- OSHA or other applicable safety training.
- Experience with portable office trailers, modular buildings, or temporary facilities preferred.
- Experience coordinating trailer movement, transportation, setup, or relocation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and multiple activities.
- Strong organizational, scheduling, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Government/customer representatives.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Guam.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
