Project Officer (at the rank of Technical Officer)

Project Officer (at the rank of Technical Officer) in the Department of Emergency Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 537208) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, Social Science, Public Health, or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of experience in event planning, project coordination or coaching. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage. They should be dynamic and proactive, able to interact with clients, members, and user groups in a positive and professional manner, while also demonstrating the ability to manage tasks independently and work collaboratively within a team.

The appointee will oversee a community-wide disaster and mental health programme, including teaching and assessment activities. Key responsibilities include preparing materials, managing scheduling, venues, participants and instructors; collecting data; and liaising with stakeholders to recruit and retain subject pools.

Support to other community centers at various locations may be required.
