As a Senior Relocation Consultant (SRC) you are responsible for coordinating the delivery of local destination service programs based on Sirva Relocation clients’ policies and benefits. You will act as the primary point of coordination and accountability to internal Sirva Consultants and transferring assignees while maintaining the highest levels of customer service. This includes managing expenses at the lowest possible level for the corporate client while contributing to optimum revenues for Sirva Relocation.
In this role, you will:
• Manage and coordinate the end-to-end relocation process for assigned employees and their families, from pre-decision trips through arrival, settling-in support, and repatriation, in accordance with client allocations. Services may include preview trips, home search, school search, settling-in assistance, and repatriation support.
• Process and maintain all relocation-related documentation received from clients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date electronic and physical records.
• Engage promptly with internal consultants, third-party providers, and assignees while meeting established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and departments to deliver a seamless and positive relocation experience for assignees.
• Maintain current knowledge of local and expatriate-related matters, including housing, international schools, healthcare, transportation, recreational facilities, grocery services, domestic assistance, and expatriate communities.
• Manage and regularly update relocation reference materials and Welcome Kits, ensuring destination information remains accurate, relevant, and beneficial to assignees.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international schools, staying informed about enrolment availability, curriculum offerings, and school developments through regular engagement and participation in school events.
• Provide guidance to assignees and internal consultants on relocation-related matters, manage policy exceptions where applicable, and communicate proactively with client HR representatives regarding assignee issues, solutions, recommendations, and status updates.
• Work according to the requirements of the Company Quality System.
• Identify, escalate, and report actual or potential issues, risks, and non-compliant practices to management for appropriate resolution and continuous improvement.
• Maintain the Relocation Database –SMARTS / Service Engine.
• Manage the third-party providers like field consultants, car rental companies etc and liaise with them in co-ordination of the destination service program for the transferring assignee and family member(s), where applicable.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and ongoing support to team members, ensuring client and contractor matters are managed efficiently, professionally, and in a cost-effective manner.
• Coordinate, facilitate, and deliver training on SMARTS and Service Engine systems, ensuring team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to perform their roles effectively.
• Support business development and client relationship initiatives by participating in client and prospective client meetings, presentations, and site visits as required.
GROW WITH INTENTION
What You’ll Bring
• 5-7 years of experience in real estate, relocation or a related industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. International living or cross-cultural experience is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English, with proficiency in one or more additional languages preferred.
• Proven customer service expertise, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships. Experience in project coordination and service partner/vendor management is essential.
• A proactive team player who demonstrates initiative, ownership, and a results-driven approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Access, with strong overall computer literacy.
