Investigator Site Payment Associate /Payment Specialist - hybrid - Croatia

As a Investigator Payment Associate at ICON, you will be pivotal in managing and processing investigator payments for clinical trials.

What You Will Do:

Your experience in pricing and investigator payments will be key in delivering high-quality outcomes and mentoring colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and execute site payments in compliance with Clinical Trial Agreements and individual site staff agreements
  • Record payment transactions and updates accurately in relevant electronic systems
  • Set up new suppliers for newly engaged site staff participating in clinical trials
  • Track and monitor payment status regularly, proactively identifying and resolving issues and reporting inaccuracies in reports as required
  • Coordinate with Budget & Contract Specialists, Study Start-up Specialists, Trial Managers, and Legal and Finance Teams as required to facilitate the efficient execution of payment processes and resolution of payment related issues
  • Communicate with sites and clinical teams regarding payment status and address issues questions or updates
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for site payment processes and inquiries

Your Profile:

You will have a strong foundation in pricing and investigator payments, with the experience to work independently and guide others.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or experience in clinical trial payments will be an advantage
  • Extensive experience in financial management or payment processing, preferably within the clinical research or healthcare sector.
  • Proven ability to manage complex payment processes, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience in resolving payment issues and discrepancies effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide exceptional support to stakeholders.
