The Position

As a Legal Advisor, you are responsible to provide legal advice, direction and services to the Company, concerning the legal obligations and operations of the Company and in particular, the minimization of legal risk and contractual exposure. You support and assist management members throughout the Organization by providing legal advice as required, while directly supervising the Data Privacy Coordinator, who reports into this position.

The Opportunity:

  • Practicing preventative law and delivering strategic legal counsel to senior management and internal stakeholders across employment law, contract law, data privacy, and compliance matters.
  • Assisting leadership in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating complex legal and contractual risks while advising on regulatory updates and company obligations.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and qualifying critical legal documentation, tender materials, and corporate records (e.g., Deed of Foundation, Resolutions, Power of Attorney) to safeguard the Company's interests.
  • Supporting cross-functional teams in high-stakes negotiations and managing new business relationships with external partners, contractors, and service providers.
  • Instructing and supervising external legal counsel in handling corporate litigation, disputes, and specialized legal matters.
  • Developing and maintaining standardized contract templates, employment contracts, employee handbooks, SOPs, work instructions, and tendering governance frameworks aligned with Roche Group guidelines.
  • Delivering tailored legal training workshops on data privacy and employment law, while preparing required local, corporate, and government compliance reports.

Who you are:

  • Degree in Law
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate law, with a proven background in labor law, contract law, tax law, compliance, data privacy, and information compliance, people management experience considered as an advantage
  • Skilled at leading and communicating effectively without authority, managing complex negotiations, and advising Senior Management and external partners
  • Methodical, analytical, and proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail, advanced time-management, and multitasking abilities
  • Solid computer skills, including literacy in AI tools
  • Hungarian language skillis a must have and strong professional English communication skills (written and spoken) are essential
