Job Description

Join TAPI's Debrecen production site and play a key role in ensuring the reliable supply of raw materials that support our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Working closely with local stakeholders, global suppliers, and cross-functional teams, you will drive sourcing initiatives, support cost savings, and help maintain a resilient and efficient supply chain.

This position is based in Debrecen and requires regular on-site presence. Candidates should be able to work from the site at least on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and global suppliers to ensure supply continuity and competitive commercial terms.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for critical raw materials used in API manufacturing.
• Negotiate contracts and support supplier performance management initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, supply risks, and raw material availability to proactively mitigate disruptions.
• Support the delivery of annual savings targets and contribute to budget planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and other stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support the implementation of global and local procurement initiatives and category strategies.
• Contribute to inventory optimization and operational excellence across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, healthcare, or related manufacturing sectors.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a scientific, technical, business, or supply chain-related field.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple functions.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to regularly travel to and work from the Debrecen production site, with a minimum on-site presence of one day per week.
