Estimator

Main Responsibilities
• Responsibility for the preparation of sales estimates and commercial proposals for new and existing business across all technologies, ensuring pricing and margins align with company strategy and market conditions.
• Manage and optimise customer profitability, monitoring the margin on each account, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing engineering initiatives to maximise business value.
• Drive capacity planning activities by working closely with Demand Planning, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure optimal utilisation of manufacturing capacity and support business growth objectives.
• Provide support to Drogheda for IFU processes.
• Identify technical development and innovation projects, evaluating new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to enhance product performance, operational efficiency, and customer value.
• Own key project actions/ projects to support the technical requirements identified through business growth.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing and Operations teams to develop commercially competitive and technically robust solutions for customers.
• Conduct regular reviews of product costings, manufacturing methods, and material specifications, identifying opportunities to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase EBITDA performance.
• Provide technical and commercial support for tenders, new business opportunities, and strategic customer projects, ensuring solutions are aligned with both customer requirements and business objectives.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, driving enhancements in systems, workflows, planning processes, and operational performance through data analysis and innovation.
• Monitor and report business performance against key KPIs, delivering actionable insights through margin analysis, sales reporting, capacity utilisation reviews, and management reporting.
• Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and high performance, coaching colleagues and contributing to the successful delivery of departmental and business goals.
