Cleaning Assistant (Part-Time)

SPAR Eastgate, an award-winning convenience retailer in Cork, is seeking a motivated, reliable Cleaning Assistant who can work both independently and as part of a team with us at SPAR, Little Island.

Looking for work that fits around your week? This is a Saturday & Sunday position, ideal for those looking for flexible weekend hours.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the food court seating area
• Ensure the cleanliness of the toilets
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain recycling practices
• Collaborate with the kitchen team for seamless operations
• Sweeping & mopping of floors

Prior experience isn't required as full training will be provided.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Availability to work weekends
• A positive attitude and good teamwork skills
