Role Overview:

We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager to join CTS a Cardo Group Company, based in Dublin.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Manager to join our team and take the lead in promoting and maintaining a positive health and safety culture across the organisation.

This is a key role, responsible for ensuring that health and safety policies, procedures and systems are effectively implemented, monitored and continuously improved. You will work closely with managers, employees and senior leadership to identify risks, provide practical advice and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and continuously review health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation and relevant industry standards.
• Carry out regular workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor and report on health and safety performance and key performance indicators.
• Provide professional advice and guidance to managers and employees on health and safety matters.
• Coordinate and deliver health and safety training, inductions and toolbox talks.
• Maintain accurate health and safety records, documentation and reporting systems.
• Support the development of emergency procedures and business continuity arrangements.
• Liaise with external bodies, contractors and relevant authorities where required.
• Promote a strong, proactive and positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation.
• Keep up to date with changes in legislation, guidance and industry best practice.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience working in a Health & Safety Manager or similar role.
• A recognised health and safety qualification, such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and best practice.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, audits and investigations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• The confidence to challenge unsafe practices and drive positive change.
• Good IT and report-writing skills.
• The ability to work independently while also building effective relationships across the organisation.
