C#/.NET Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain C# / .NET applications (web, desktop, or backend services)
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical design decisions
• Collaborate with Product Owners, designers, and QA engineers throughout the SDLC
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, microservices , and third-party systems
• Work within Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives)
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Stay current with emerging technologies and .NET ecosystem updates

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET / .NET Core (3+ years)
• Experience with ASP.NET Core for building web APIs or MVC applications
• Solid understanding of OOP principles , design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience with Entity Framework Core or similar ORM frameworks
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
• Version control using Git (branching strategies, pull requests)
• Understanding of REST API design and consumption
