ROLE OVERVIEW
- Job Title: QC Coordinator
- Job Type: Acting Role
- Location: SGS ISL, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork
- Hours: 39 hours p/w
Overview of the role
- Provide strong Leadership and Support across the team
- Coach and develop team, ensuring all employees are trained to execute their duties- Lead the team to ensure business objectives are met
- Represent ISL at routine customer interactions, aligning with client services
- Build and maintain cross functional relationships with operational planner and coordinators (daily and weekly operational meetings).
- Ensure optimization of testing sequences considering available capacity, while also balancing TpT commitments and customer demands.
- Drive and promote continuous improvements initiatives within the lab
- Carry out safety audits and leadership visits and work to enhance pro-active safety culture
- Lead Tier 1 meetings and represent the team at Tier 2 meetings
- Take full ownership of Laboratory Systems for new and existing equipment

Qualifications
- Third Level qualification within science, Pharmacy with a minimum of 4 years experience in a GMP analytical lab.
- Strong experience with analytical instrumentation, automated laboratory systems, and current regulatory expectations.
- Proven experience leading and developing a team
