Release Manager

You will join Mobileye’s Release Management team. The team owns the Release lifecycle, includes scheduling, coordinating and management of the ADAS & AV SW releases.

You will be responsible for implementing and managing the release processes for code through development, integration, and test environments, collaborating with all participants in Algo/Software Development, Product Management, and Project teams

What your job will look like?

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Release Managers responsible for delivering ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle software releases.
• Define the team’s operating model, priorities, processes, and best practices for end-to-end release planning, execution, governance, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee complex release plans across multiple products, programs, and software components - ensuring alignment on scope, milestones, dependencies, quality, and readiness.
• Drive release governance, including release-readiness reviews, risk-management processes, change control, escalation paths, and go/no-go decision support.
• Partner with Development, Integration, QA, Product, Program Management, and senior leadership to align release strategy with business and product objectives.
• Ensure consistent, transparent communication of release plans, progress, risks, decisions, and changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Establish and track release-health KPIs, using data to identify bottlenecks, improve predictability, and strengthen delivery quality.
• Lead cross-functional resolution of critical release blockers, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Promote standardization and scalability across release-management practices, documentation, tooling, and reporting.
• Drive automation and process improvements across build, integration, validation, and deployment pipelines in collaboration with DevOps and engineering teams.
• Foster a culture of ownership, operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the Release Management team.

All you need is:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field - required.
• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience in Release Management, Program Management, DevOps, Software Engineering, or similar roles — required.
• At least 2–3 years of proven people-management or team-leadership experience — required.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional software releases in a large-scale engineering environment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop professionals, set priorities, manage workload, and build effective team processes.
• Strong understanding of software-development lifecycles, release-management practices, CI/CD, configuration management, and quality processes.
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including planning and delivery in iterative development environments.
• Excellent stakeholder-management, communication, and decision-making skills, including the ability to influence senior technical and business leaders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to tracking release health and driving improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, and relevant reporting or dashboarding tools - an advantage.
• Programming or scripting experience, preferably in Python — an advantage.
• An M.Sc., MBA, or experience working with large-scale, safety-critical, automotive, ADAS, or Autonomous Vehicle software systems — an advantage.
