About the Role
CytoReason is seeking an experienced Field Scientist with a strong background in immunology to join our Science Delivery Team.
This is a scientific, client-facing role at the intersection of immunology, computational biology, and pharmaceutical R&D. The Field Scientist will work directly with pharmaceutical partners, helping them translate scientific questions into meaningful analyses and insights using CytoReason’s platform and disease models.
We are looking for an immunologist with a PhD, ideally with postdoctoral experience, who combines strong scientific expertise with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a scientific point of contact for pharmaceutical customers throughout delivery and implementation.
- Lead scientific training sessions, workshops, and platform presentations.
- Provide scientific guidance and interpretation of CytoReason disease models, with a focus on immunology and inflammatory & immune-mediated (I&I) diseases.
- Work with customers to translate biological questions into analytical approaches and platform use cases.
- Interpret molecular and omics results and communicate their biological and therapeutic relevance.
- Develop and drive new customer use cases that demonstrate tangible value from the platform.
- Collaborate with Bioinformaticians, Product, R&D, and Delivery teams on customer-specific solutions, including data integration, analysis workflows, and platform customization.
- Proactively identify customer scientific needs and opportunities to improve or expand platform usage.
Requirements
- PhD in Immunology or a closely related life-sciences field; postdoctoral research experience strongly preferred.
- Strong expertise in immunology and I&I disease biology, including immune pathways, cell biology, disease mechanisms, and therapeutic mechanisms.
- Experience with omics data, translational research, or computational/data-driven biology.
- Ability to interpret complex scientific results and connect them to biological and therapeutic hypotheses.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Excellent presentation and scientific communication skills.
- Strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills, with the confidence and presence to engage effectively with senior scientists and stakeholders.
- Collaborative, proactive, independent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
