Job Description
NOTE: This role does not offer Relocation or Sponsorship. Applicants must be eligible to work in Isle of Man.
To provide independent second-line oversight, challenge, and insight across Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Fraud Risk, and Transaction Execution Risk, ensuring material risks are effectively identified, managed, monitored, and reported. The role supports the business in maintaining a strong control environment, drives data-led risk interventions, and provides meaningful risk insights to enable informed decision-making, operational resilience, and positive client outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- Advanced Diploma in Business Commerce
- Advanced Diploma in Risk Management
Experience Required :
- 3-4 years experience in Operational Risk Management
- Practical knowledge of risk and control frameworks and application in financial services industry. Be fully conversant in risk appetite, risk response and process improvement concepts. Understand both NFR and financial reporting risk characteristics.
Key Outputs :
- Risk Oversight and Challenge
- Provide independent oversight and challenge across TPRM, Fraud Risk, and Transaction Execution Risk.
- Assess the effectiveness of first-line controls and ensure risks are managed within approved appetite and policy requirements.
- Risk Monitoring and Insights
- Monitor key risk indicators, incidents, emerging threats, control weaknesses, and industry developments.
- Deliver data-driven analysis and actionable insights to support timely risk management interventions.
- Third Party Risk Management
- Oversee adherence to the Third-Party Risk Management Framework across the third-party lifecycle.
- Review material third-party engagements, identify emerging risks and themes, and escalate concerns through appropriate governance structures.
- Fraud Risk Management
- Act as the primary Non-Financial Risk partner for fraud risk, providing oversight of fraud trends, control effectiveness, incident management, and remediation activities.
- Support the development of proactive fraud risk management practices across business units and channels.
- Governance, Reporting and Stakeholder Management
- Produce high-quality reporting for Risk Control Committees and senior management, ensuring clear accountability, ownership, and escalation of material risks.
- Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders, risk teams, Internal Audit, and external partners to promote effective risk management and governance practices
