We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Associate - Product Control and Oversight

In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate management of issues/actions and dispensations raised in relation to the business.
  • Analyze and develop governance related management information relevant to all product areas.
  • Manage and maintain stakeholder challenge meetings, the scheduling of agenda items and undertaking follow up activities.
  • Manage the preparation of meeting packs and minutes for key committees. Proactively follow up on action items.
  • Manage oversight of issues related to ensuring resolution, timely closure. Contribute to impact assessments related to regulatory change including analysis of regulations.
  • Group audit outcome and feedback from effectiveness reviews. Co-ordinate the organization of regional management oversight committees which are key risk governance forums for business.
  • Escalate and make recommendations regarding issues raised during their day-to-day activities and interaction with various stakeholders and teams
  • Support the effective management of audit and compliance Assurance reviews, closing out issues identified in an effective and timely manner.

To be successful you will:

  • The jobholder should have minimum of 4 years' experience in retail or wealth product development, sales, risk management or head office roles
  • Have a demonstrated track record of simplifying and streamlining processes. Should have a masters or bachelors degree.
  • An evidential track record in stakeholder management, with a particular emphasis on second line functions
  • Technical knowledge and broad understanding of a variety of products and advice processes, preferably gained from exposure to different jurisdictions and regulations
  • Adapt and apply as applicable the change management across specific financial product categories.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills. Depth of exposure and experience within the wealth and product management industry
  • Responsible for tracking and ensuring we adhere to regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Prepare & provide product material and information, including consensus ex-product factsheet, product features, risk disclosures, daily bond spreadsheet, Bloomberg and Reuters
