We are looking for a strong team member to join People & Culture to lead and coordinate general learning and internal communication, as well as take part in a variety of workplace culture-related projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated to support a performance-driven and dynamic learning culture by strengthening both existing and new communication channels within the company.

In the coming months, emphasis will be placed on strengthening employees’ digital competence and supporting the practical use of artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage general learning at Icelandair.
  • Develop a learning plan that supports operational priorities and the company’s strategy.
  • Prepare and manage learning materials and courses, whether facilitated in-house or digitally.
  • Lead projects that enhance the practical use of artificial intelligence and digital competence across the company.
  • Participate in developing and implementing plans and campaigns for internal communication and information sharing.
  • Manage content and layout on the company’s internal website.
  • Develop and implement new channels for communication and information sharing.
  • Support projects that strengthen company culture and employee participation in events.
  • Communicate the company’s strategy, vision and values through learning, communication and culture-related projects.

Education, skills and experience:

  • A university degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in project management within learning, marketing and/or human resources.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills, data literacy and the ability to communicate findings clearly.
  • Knowledge and skills in digital solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.
  • A curious mindset and creative problem-solving.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in both Icelandic and English.
