Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

As an Assistant Marketing Manager, you are responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and evaluation of integrated marketing and public relations initiatives that enhance brand visibility, strengthen the hotel's market position, and drive commercial success. Working closely with internal departments and external partners, you will ensure all marketing activities are delivered in line with DoubleTree brand standards and business objectives. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinate the production of marketing communications, including sales proposals, collateral, newsletters, brochures, and other promotional materials.
• Oversee the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across direct mail, email marketing, public relations, and digital channels.
• Track campaign performance, prepare analysis reports, and provide data-driven recommendations to optimise campaign effectiveness.
• Develop standardised presentations, sales scripts, and proposals.
• Manage content updates and monthly newsletters across Food & Beverage venues.
• Maintain project management systems to document, monitor, and track marketing activities.

Public Relations
• Manage and execute public relations activities, including media visits, photo and video shoots, and editorial content development.
• Write, edit, and proofread press releases, editorials, photo captions, and fact sheets in line with brand standards.
• Conduct hotel site inspections and maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and experiences.
• Liaise closely with the Commercial teams, including Sales, Revenue, and Reservations, to ensure effective communication and alignment.
• Maintain the department's media database, prepare monthly media coverage reports, and respond promptly to media enquiries.
• Lead the hotel's annual awards strategy by researching, selecting, and preparing submissions for key industry awards.

Social Media & Digital
• Collaborate with the Graphic Design & Social Media Executive to support the planning, execution, and review of daily social media activities and campaigns.
• Support the Commercial Director in managing paid social media campaigns, analysing performance, and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
• Ensure all campaigns align with hotel promotions and comply with DoubleTree brand standards.
• Optimise website content to enhance the user experience across hotel websites, OTA platforms, and metasearch channels.
• Support the implementation of OTA marketing initiatives and monitor GDS campaigns to maximise online visibility and bookings.

Graphic Design Support
• Work closely with the Graphic Design & Social Media Executive to develop creative concepts, marketing collateral, and HTML content updates.
• Maintain an up-to-date content library to support media requests and internal and external marketing requirements.
