• International Corporates provides a broad range of banking products and tailored financial solutions to major Korean conglomerates, government-invested companies and public enterprises, as well as local subsidiaries and branches of major multinational companies operating in Korea.
• The role builds long-term client relationships, identifies business and financial needs, originates new opportunities, and works with Product Partners, Credit Analysts and the global network to develop client strategies and integrated financial solutions. The role also manages transaction execution, credit and portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify prospective clients and new business opportunities aligned with the Bank’s business strategy and risk appetite, and propose suitable banking products and solutions.
• Build long-term relationships with assigned clients and engage regularly with key stakeholders, including senior management, to understand their business strategies and financial needs.
• Collaborate with Product Partners, Credit Analysts, GAM/FAM and other stakeholders to assess client wallet size and potential and develop comprehensive account plans.
• Manage the end-to-end execution of client transactions, including proposals, pricing and terms negotiation, and deal closing.
• Prepare or review client proposals, term sheets and senior management meeting materials, and maintain pipeline and client-contact records in CRM on a timely basis.
• Work with ARM and relevant functions to ensure timely completion of client onboarding, CDD, transaction documentation and security perfection.
• Structure and execute complex or non-standard transactions with Product Partners, Legal, external counsel and relevant credit teams.
• Monitor limit utilisation, profitability, arrears and excesses, and maintain a sound and stable portfolio.
• Manage the overall credit quality and transaction quality of assigned and newly acquired portfolios.
• Comply with applicable laws, internal policies and procedures, and appropriately manage AML, CDD, risk and conduct matters.
• Attend internal and external business meetings, portfolio reviews and other client- or transaction-related meetings; where required, coordinate creditor-bank meetings as the main relationship bank.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience covering major Korean corporates, public enterprises or multinational companies.
• Experience proposing client solutions and executing transactions using multiple corporate banking products.
• Ability to develop client strategies and account plans.
• Experience in new client origination, client proposals, and pricing and terms negotiation.
• Experience in credit analysis, review of credit proposals and portfolio quality management.
• Experience executing structured finance or complex corporate banking transactions with Product and Support functions.
• Ability to prepare senior management reports, client briefing materials and presentations.
• Ability to manage client information, sales pipelines and activity records using CRM or similar systems.
• Client-centric mindset, collaborative approach, ability to build trust, and sound, timely decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager or in a relevant coverage role.
• At least 10 years of banking experience, including at least 4 years in corporate client origination and sales.
• Sound understanding of corporate banking products, credit and transaction structures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
