The group you’ll be a part of

The Global Supply Chain organisation plays a critical role in enabling Lam Research's growth, operational excellence, and customer success. As part of the Supply Base Management (SBM) team, you will work closely with suppliers and cross-functional partners across Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, Quality, and Operations to ensure a resilient, scalable, and high-performing supply network.

Our team is responsible for driving supplier operational excellence, mitigating supply risks, supporting new product introductions, improving delivery performance, and ensuring continuity of supply for our customers worldwide. The impact you’ll make

As a key member of the Supply Base Management team, you will be responsible for managing strategic supplier relationships and driving operational performance across a portfolio of suppliers. You will lead initiatives to improve delivery, capacity, quality, inventory, and overall supply chain resilience while supporting business growth and customer commitments.

What you’ll do

  • Drive supplier performance improvements through data analysis, performance reviews, and corrective action plans.
  • Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to proactively identify and mitigate supply risks.
  • Support new product introductions, product transitions, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve supply constraints, capacity challenges, and material shortages.
  • Develop and execute strategies that improve service levels, reduce lead times, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Influence decision-making through insights, analytics, and executive-level communications.
  • Contribute to the long-term development of a resilient and sustainable supply base that supports Lam Research's strategic objectives.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative supply chain professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with strong stakeholder management skills and has a passion for driving operational excellence across a global supply base.

You are someone who:

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Material Science, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • Preferably to have 7-12years of working experiences.
    • Builds trusted partnerships with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve common business objectives.
    • Demonstrates strong business acumen and can balance operational needs with long-term strategic priorities.
    • Uses data and analytics to identify trends, solve complex problems, and drive measurable improvements.
    • Proactively identifies risks and develops mitigation plans to ensure supply continuity and business resilience.
    • Communicates effectively with audiences at all levels, from operational teams to senior leadership.
    • Takes ownership, drives accountability, and delivers results in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
    • Embraces continuous improvement and challenges conventional approaches to create better outcomes.
    • Enjoys working across global teams and cultures to solve supply chain challenges and enable business growth.

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning, inventory management, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience managing supplier operational performance, including delivery, capacity, quality, and lead-time improvements.
  • Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI), product transitions, or manufacturing scale-up activities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement methodologies, or root cause analysis tools is an advantage. (e.g 8D, RCCA)
  • Understand B.O.M -Bill of Material
  • Semiconductor industry, high-tech manufacturing, or complex supply chain experience is preferred.
  • With added advantage of MRP knowledge (SAP), and other tools set like Power BI, Rapid Respond.
  • Good to have plastic commodity industry experience/exposure.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
